Hello Wrestling Fans and welcome to my week in Review and you can catch an edited version of this on my new Opinion web-site at www.freewebs.com/wrestle-talk for my opinion, Aaron(smileman94) and sdkwwe's opinions. maybe MBG1211 may even join us, im currently awaiting his reply, but now i wanna talk RAW, but on a quick note, before i forget, i just recently noted that Nick Hogan did not commit a felony? What!? does that really suit the crime, he's basically commited something worse than murder, he's murdered John Graziano, only difference is Graziano has to be there for the rest of his life, as a vegtable, he can't walk or talk, or care for himself, all he can do is basically breath, and that deserves a felony.

Onto RAW, which, as if it wasn't that hard, was a step up from last week's snooze fest, we had two returns from two of the biggest WWE stars of right now, i speak of course of John Cena, who lost to Randy Orton, and will face JBL at Judgement Day, it reminds of one of those rivalrys where the champ would defend against a mystery superstar, or when you had a champion who put his opponent in hospital, and now he was sending a message to him, as he lay in bed, and the other return was of course, the return of Jeff Hardy, who defeated Umaga. Sadly, Hardy is on his second strike and one more means he is out, and I lost some respect for Jeff when he did what he did but hopefully his will power will overcome his addiction and he can get himself straight, so all those starving Jeff fan, it was good to see him back in action against Umaga, who should very well be making his final month on RAW, as I believe there is a WWE draft coming up in June, or at least there is confirmed a 3-Hour-Raw Special, so Umaga needs to make a move to Smackdown! or even ECW and become champion there, as Estrada, his former 'Handler' is GM in the land of extreme, and speaking of losing just a little respect for Jeff, I lost all of my respect for the former ECW Original, the Sandman when he showed up to a 2cw show, completly drunk, you think Santino was bad, check out this disturbing video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sJOvm0jzpA

I stumbled, quite like the Sandman, upon this video on the internet on sescoops.com, and it's basically the Sandman, wandering around the arena aimlessly, for 6 minutes, then he goes into the ring, hits his opponent very slowly and then he gets on the mic, during the match he actually falls asleep! and at one point he calls gordy names like, Gordan, Gorgy and then tells him to hang his kendo stick from the ceiling, no, i didn't mistype, sadly, anyway, speaking of actions you just find pathetic, onto ECW.

Now, I Hate ECW, but there is a big buzz about my favourite Jamican, so I will talk about him, Kofi Kingston, and this week he met another Brilliant Black Wrestler this week, Shelton Benjamin, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, and JR will take any oppourtunity to mention Benjamin is a golden goofer, and an amazing and extremly inovative athlete, and i respect him as much as any other Person should or does. Kingston and Benjamin will face next week and the reason that was made a segment is so people don't miss it next week, and im not sure that gets ratings, I know I'll be watching on youtube. So that's that, not much else to talk about on ECW.

And to touch on Smackdown, just briefly was the 6-on-1 Handicap Match with Undertaker vs The Famila Thingy that those guys have, and ended with Vickie almost getting chokeslammed, but Edge hit his Spear and Vickie escaped, and I have a question about Vickie, for WWE, when the Hell are you gonna get her out of the GM office and out of that crappy Wheelchair!? it's been like months or something since she got Tombstoned! So please get her of the camera and she can work backstage if she needs money or feels guilty for getting paid by WWE for doing nothing.

And now for my Judgement Day Predictions!

WWE Champion Triple H vs Randy Orton (Steel Cage)

Prediction: Triple H is winning without a doubt, and I see a Night of Champions Hell In A Cell Match in June.

[World Heavywieght Championship] Edge vs Undertaker

Prediction:Well it is hard to guess but I have to see Edge going over, Undertaker has more momentum and will be a 5 time Champion if I guess right, but it's a wasted match, you could have at least made it a gimmick match but I see why it wasn't A HIAC match since they already have a Cage above Head.

[WWE Tag Team Championship] ECW Champion Kane and CM Punk vs WWE Tag Team Champions Morrision and Miz

Prediction: It's a little out there but I have two predictions for this, one is that Kane and Punk win and Punk betrays Kane and becomes the ECW Champion at say, Summerslam, or somewhere down the line, and the other is that Morrison and Miz win and Kane gets beaten down, then Punk cashes in against Kane after the match

Intercontinetal Champion Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels

Prediction: Expect a show stealing match? yeah, why not, the somewhat depressing build-up ended when Shawn turned up and said he faked the whole injury on RAW, and Batista said he would be at Judgement Day, so I see Batista Spearing and Batista Bombing Shawn Michales, then another match at Night Of Champions, which is Championship matches only, so where could this be going? Is Jericho gonna stay in this rivalry and face Batista and HBK at NOC in a Triple Threat Match? I hope so, that would be cool, but I'm expecting a Gimmick match of some sort.

John Cena vs JBL

Prediction:John Cena, in a match that will last about 7 minutes, or so I predict

Womens Champion Mickie James vs Melina vs Beth Pheonix

Prediction: I see Mickie winning this match, in about 10 minutes.

So thats gonna do I t for this week, see you guys next week, and on www.freewebs.com/wrestle-talk

RAW Not Getting Bumped Anymore? PDF Print E-mail

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that, WWE Monday Night Raw will no longer be bumped for the U.S. Open on the USA Network as ESPN signed a six-year deal to gain the rights for the U.S. Open today. This will go into effect in 2009, so USA will still have it in September and it is doubtful they will bump Raw for it. USA has had the rights to the U.S. Open since 1985.

Johns Week In Review 2 PDF Print E-mail
Written by John

Hello Wrestling Fans and Welcome to John's Opinion of this week of Wrestling action, and this is my second week, and to start of this week, i'm gonna start with possibly the hottest topic we've had in this somewhat underwhelming week.

Nick Hogan has been Jailed for 8 months, and you know what, he deserves every minute of it, Nick Hogan can get away with anything because he is Hulk Hogan's son and we all know Hogan, wrestling fan or not, everybody knows, Hulk Hogan, but Nick, is an idiot, and would love to be a big star, but you know what? he tries to be famous for things that he can't do, which includes Driving, I watched an episode of Hogan Knows Best, sigh, and in the episode Nick wanted to be a Driver and... he sucked, but he can do it, because his daddy could get Nick to be Anything! I don't even like Hulk Hogan, but I respect him because of what he has done in the past, but over the year Hogan is a man, crepping with Paranoia, he is (quoted from Steve Austin) Bitter and Insecure and thinks that he's the greatest of all time and the Icon, but in my opinion, Hogan is over rated, A Big Boot, Body Slam and a Leg Drop, wow, what a 10 minute main event worthy match! Meanwhile you have over in the NWA you have Ric Flair going up against Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat in Hour Long Classics! Then You Have Austin and Rock, the two real Icons of Pro Wrestling in terms of Mic Skills and Ring Skills, you Talk about Ring Skills, You Have Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Not to Cause Any Controversy but Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Owen Hart or even Triple H!(who is also over rated but in a lesser way than Hogan) but you have Hogan as the true Icon? Give Me A Break. Sorry but we do have probably Hulkamaniacs reading who are gonna become Axe Murderers and come for me but that's just my opinion. Besides Nick has commited a Felony here! that means he can vote anymore right? sorry I don't live in America, I won't tell you where i live incase Hulks army searches for me, but the Hogans probably don't even vote, like they give a crap whos running, they wouldn't care whos voting unless it was Hulk running, or Nick, which would lose in a landslide. From what I understand John Graziano(the victim) and his family buried Nick with an overwhelming amount to the point the Judge gave young Nick Hogan his 8 months in jail, well deserved, and to Judge Philip Fedrico, well done.

The other somewhat Big Stroy that exploded was that THQ has announced a Legends Of Wrestlemania Videogame, and I am amazed at that, it should be an awesome game full of legends, and to make some guesses, The Rock, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Ric Flair Classic Shawn Michaels, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Masked Kane and other legends that are usually in the SvR09 series, maybe even André the Giant, Jim Neidhart, Sgt. Slaughter, Ricky Steamboat, maybe if they can put their differences aside the Ultimate Warrior, and a certain other someone who wears Red and Yellow who may or may not be in, and just to clear up, i don't mean the Gobeldy Gucker. Now for the Definitely Not in, Randy Savage, Owen Hart(unless his wife forgives WWE for, in her eyes, murdering her husband), Goldberg, Brock Lesnar so don't even ask and don't even dare ask about Chris Benoit, sorry to say. I am a great fan of the Smackdown! vs RAW series and am getting TNA iMPACT! and SvR09 for my 14th Birthday. I will try to get this Legends game but remember Sting and Savage DVDS where announced for this years DVD schedules and both were cancelled, so keep that in mind.

Onto RAW which, obvoiusly, wasn't half as good as last week, RAW was boring this week and put many viewers to sleep, the main thing was when the lights cut and Randy Orton appeared with a big RKO to the WWE champion Triple H, why? to get an advantage to Triple H this upcoming Suday at Judgement Day, which, by the way, he will get his ass kicked but more about my predictions next week.

Now to ECW but, like many of youwho will skip past this paragraph, I don't give a sh*t about ECW so I will talk about ECW's 4 biggest stars who really shouldn't be on that brand, you have the WWE Tag Team Champions The MNM as Adamle put it, Miz and John Morrison, two overly talented young men who have yet to reach their prime, who play the role of the cocky young men who can talk the talk but seem to have trouble walking the walk, and sadly resort to cheating, which makes sence since their heels, Miz is easy to hate because, he's cocky, he's arrogant, I'll say he's good looking although i rwally don't know since i'm not gay but from what i see in Sigs and Chats, he is, and quite frankly, overall, he is annoying. I remember his Who-Rah! phase which made him look like an Idiotic Jackass, I'm not sure if he does because I'm not one of the people who watch ECW, Morrison is a great performer and on the November 4th 2007 i made my first Event, A House Show and had the honor of watching ECW Championship match with the Miz, John Morrison who did a brilliant amount of well performed and executed moves, and CM Punk who won, obviously,a dn that brings us to Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk, will this give him his first WWE or World Title? Punk is a great performer and right now in in his Prime, and heading for an awful ECW title reign beating Kane, Im predicting, and finally ECW Champion Kane is also in this match, which i predicted woulde be a Triple Threat match between him, Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely, but now here I am, completly off, because there isn't even going to be an ECW titl match, and it's sad because I have another match prediction which i will give next week and i think this has actually got a pretty decent chance of happening, whick leads us onto Smackdown!

Smackdown! this week was a step up from 'Golden Friday' Last week which had an absolutely awful Undertaker Title Vacancy and The Great Khali vs Taker, and you know what? The Great Khali sucks!!! he should be nowhere near the Undertaker or the WWE! if he's fired then he will no doubt go to TNA where he will be called Khali Singh or something and be instead of India from 'The Depths of Hell' son of Jim Cornette and James Mitchell where they have an adoption, brothes with Abyss, Black Reign/Dustin Rhodes, Johny Stamboli, and Judis Masies, and then he gets married to Karen Angle and commits Bigamy with ODB. That was mostly a joke, except for him going to TNA, because someone from WWE is released so they should lock their doors because you'll have some guys from TNA outside the house with a contract and a pen. This week Edge won the right to face Taker for the Vacant Title at Judgement Day, my predictions on that next week.

A nd to End I'm gonna give you some predictions on TNA Sacrafice, another poorly named creation from the comedy stylings of Vince Russo.

Triple Threat Match For The TNA Championship
- Samoa Joe (c) vs. Scott Steiner vs. Kurt Angle

Prediction: Samoa Joe, obvioulsy, Steiner's washed up and this is bad for Angle, he could get badly hurt

Deuces Wild Eight-Team Tournament for the TNA World Tag Team Championships
- Announced teams: Team 3D, Christian Cage & Rhino, LAX (w/Salinas & Hector Guerrero), AJ Styles & Super Eric, Sting & James Storm, and Matt Morgan & Kip James

- Two more teams will be determined at random at the pay-per-view. Participants still available to be picked include Booker T, Robert Roode, BG James, and TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong.

Prediction: Their Gonna pair Roode and Booker but i don't really don't care, so i say the Team 3D

TNA Knockout Makeover Battle Royal
- Gail Kim vs. ODB vs. Traci Brooks vs. Christy Hemme vs. Velvet Sky vs. Salinas vs. Angelina Love vs. Roxxi Laveaux vs. Rhaka Khan vs. Jacqueline

Stipulations: The match will begin as an over-the-top battle royal until there are two competitors. The competitors will then face each other in a ladder match. The winner will receive a TNA Women's Title shot, the loser will have her head shaved. Gail Kim has immunity from having her head shaved.

Prediction: I want to see this headshaving so i will see it on Youtube, but I'm guessing ODB wins

TerrorDome Match
- Jimmy Rave vs. Johnny Devine vs. Shark Boy vs. Curry Man vs. Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelly vs. Consequences Creed vs. Kaz to become the number one contender for the TNA X-Division Championship.

Prediction: This PPV is a joke so i'll give out a joke and want to see Curry Man Win!!!

Well that's me this week, if your one of the 10,000 who buys these awful PPVs try to enjoy it and I'll see you next week where we will discuse the results of Sacrafice, Judgement Day picks and anything else big in the sport of Proffesional Wrestling!

Original Slammiversary Plans PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator
Monday, 12 May 2008 15:28
The decision to pull Kurt Angle from last night's Sacrifice PPV main event wasn't made until the day of the PPV.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the word making the rounds within TNA is that they expect Angle to be out for one month as a result of his neck injury.

The original plan was for Angle to face AJ Styles at Slammiversary, which takes place on June 8 in Southaven, MS (just outside of Memphis). It remains to be seen if Angle will be given the okay to return to the ring by that point. Tonight and tomorrow night's tapings for Impact should give an indication in regards to which direction they are going in.
